Northwood Cork Support Local Charity

February 3, 2021

The team at Northwood Technology in Cork recently organised a night of appreciation for our customers. The ongoing success of Northwood is attributed to the loyal customers we have had over the many years we are in business.

We invited valued customers from Cork and all around Munster to Flannery’s Restaurant last week for an evening of good food and great company. It was a chance for old friends to meet up and an opportunity to make new connections in the security industry for the newer businesses. A networking event like this for likeminded security experts is a great opportunity to discuss new innovations and chat about the future.

Thank Customers

The main objective was to thank our customers for their support. We have enjoyed great success both in our Dublin and Cork branches and it was time to treat our customers and show them how much we appreciate them. As a local business in the Cork area we appreciate the support we have had from the business community as a whole.

Esteemed Guest

Deputy Lord Mayor Thomas Maloney was a special guest on the night. The Deputy spoke of the current initiative to recognise local businesses in the community and to help support their efforts to promote employment and prosperity for the area. Attending this event was an important part of showing action in this regard. His plan is to build communities through nurturing local business and local groups.

Since being elected as a local councillor a few years ago, he has always been known for his work with children and youth groups in the local area. This inspired us to make a donation from the company on the night to a suitable charity.

Cork City Hospitals Children’s Club aims to bring smiles to the faces of sick and deserving children. Local man John Looney who is involved with the charity came to accept the cheque for €250 on behalf of the charity. He appreciated all the support he gets from local businesses such as Northwood. We were so inspired by what they do that Northwood Cork intend to raise future funds for this worthy cause.

We can support such charity’s because our customers support us. A big thank you for all who attended on this night from Paudie Corkery and Troy Lynch (Cork) and Paul Hennessey and Gary Hennessy (Dublin)
